As the name depicts the grandeur of this hotel is impressive, you can have a selective shopping experience within hotel and some really fine inside restaurants and cafe and enjoy your time. Hotel is quite popular for some leading conferences due to its large convention center and meeting halls. Rooms are really comfortable and location of hotel is quite serene and you can enjoy your stay. Room window always give a green and peaceful view around hotel with less traffic. Health and fitness facilities are excellent and vitality to your stay here.

A mixed bag. Close to the airport, but far from downtown Dubai. On the plus side, the pool area is nice, the staff and service culture is superb, and the rainforest atrium is lovely. There’s a pharmacy, which is great, and some luxury stores. On the downside, the food offering is both very expensive, and often the wrong side of average (especially the breakfast buffet, which is both limited and very crowded). The bar doesn’t offer draft beer, but the sushi restaurant in the atrium does??? Bizarrely the best and best value food on offer is through the room service menu – something I’ve never experienced before. Expect $10 Cokes and beers in the minibar. The rooms are spacious but poorly designed, with zero privacy toilets and limited storage with bad accessibility. Overall, it’s OK, but probably the least impressive Grand Hyatt I’ve visited so far.

My wife and I just returned from an 8 day stay at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff checked us in quickly and professionally. I talked to Concierge about expecting a package and they were friendly and very responsive when the package arrived. Our room was spacious and everyday, the room was spotless and fruit was always on our table. The staff even brought 2 complimentary bottles of wine during our stay. We ate the breakfast and dinner buffets and they were delicious and the options plentiful. The service at each meal was wonderful. Each food server tried to make sure our every needs were take care of …. from drinks to table locations. I used the hotel pool and the hot tub/spa facility 4 times and they were top notch. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel …. kindness and service second to none! I am a Hyatt Globalist and highly recommend Grand Hyatt Dubai!!

writing after a cool-off period of a week after our visit (Family of 4) for a celebratory visit of one night Mixed bag experience. Only one type pillow (super thick) was available. None of us could sleep. We took towels as pillows in the middle of night. The restaurant service was disappointing. The drink server was rude and cold. Inspite of telling him to serve the fizzy drink later, by default he kept it on our table when we went to take food from our buffet. By the time we were back the drink had lost most of its fizz. When we requested for tea, no sugar was provided and we had to ask, we got a reply- usually people here take tea without sugar! The curry contained WHOLE tamarind seeds (these are hard seeds which can cause potential choking) I encountered multiple of them and had to abandon eating. (Pic attached) A short visit stay customer is probably irrelevant in a bigger picture for such establishments. I felt I wasted my hard earned money. The only respite were the peacocks who were on full display of their feathers!

It might be set away slightly from the more common tourist areas but this hotel shouldn’t be overlooked if you’re planning a visit to the city. We arrived very in the morning but the staff worked hard to get a room ready as soon as possible, and there’s plenty of good places to pass some hours if you need to wait around. Checking in was easy with a great welcome, and all the staff throughout are helpful. Our room was on the first floor and while there was no obvious staircase the large number of lifts were fast and all the communal corridors clean with modern decor. It was a standard room but surprisingly large and spacious, with modern decor and good views towards the main city area. The bed was massive and the sofa provided a nice area to relax. Plenty of storage space throughout the room with a good size TV, effective air-conditioning, nice lighting and sockets at both sides of the bed made it practical, even for an extended stay. The bathroom was very impressive – large shower and separate bath, dual sinks, separate toilet area, with all the amenities, gowns and accessories you could expect. The gold fixtures gave a high end feel and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was no noise from the corridor or adjacent rooms and housekeeping always did a great job. There’s loads of restaurant spread throughout the ground floor and something to suit everyone. It was strange that the buffet restaurant was only open for a couple of hours in the evening, and the only bar option is actually closed on a Monday. Otherwise the food is good quality and breakfast is offered until 11:30am which is great. Drink and food service around the pool is decent, and the offers / packages available are fairly good value. The gardens outside are pleasant to wander around, and although the kids pool was closed for refitting during our stay, the main pool wasn’t overly busy. There’s plenty of seating options and the staff are great at prepping towels etc. You’re frequently offered touches like cold towels and sunglass cleaning which adds a really five star feeling. The pool is heated and deep with everywhere clean. Overall I’d really recommend this hotel. Some of the restaurants need thinking about, since when quiet they’re lacking atmosphere, but for the quality of the rooms and staff it was great value and I’d happily return.
